The Office of Sponsored Programs is seeking a qualified Grants and Contracts Officer on the Grants Management Services Team. This position is responsible for reviewing, endorsing, and submitting proposals for a designated constituency on behalf of the University. Review includes verifying budgets and ensuring conformance with sponsor, governmental, and internal requirements. The incumbent is also responsible for reviewing, negotiating, and processing sponsored award modifications from federal, state, and nonprofit funding agencies. Qualified applicants should be familiar with federal grant agency policies such as the NIH, NSF, DoD. Strong customer service and organizational skills are required, along with professionalism, tact, discretion, and initiative to succeed in this fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
