Drive a culture of creativity and curiosity via leadership of design team efforts
- Stay on top of marketplace trends and culture, shopper and consumer dynamics, and design trends and tools and infuse into design work
- Creatively lead design ideation, development, and execution for Brand innovation, packaging refreshes, regulatory and dieline updates, in-store POS and displays, online and print advertising, organic social media, coupons, tradeshows, website assets, presentation templates, and periodic corporate initiative
- Build brands’ expressions by developing look & feel, brand books, design parameters, brand guidelines, and key visual brand assets
- Prepare for and art direct photo shoots for packaging and brand assets
- Act as Brand Steward to ensure equity is strongly built and communicated consistently
- Periodically update Brand websites in WordPress platform, including updating images, photography, video, graphics, and copy
- Support organic social media with weekly assets for team to post
- Create, clearly communicate, and manage timelines from start to finish and within greater project timelines
- Prepare files for consumer research and customer sell-in meetings, including coordinating sales sheets and 3D mock ups
- Proof and manage routing of projects to proper departments, vendors and clients as project dictates with an eye on project timing requirements and schedule steps accordingly for efficient timing.
- Release files to vendor, archive assets as released to print, and obtain copies of final assets post-production
- Archives post-production files per production guidelines
- Maintain the department’s project tracking database, tracking and reporting the intake of requests, job status, job approvals
- Actively and efficiently catalog and manage all files into corporate DAM
- Seek out optimal partners that can help elevate Brand design initiatives
- Actively initiate vendor and customer relationships to be involved and up to date on various specs required
- Collaborate with Brand and Accounting teams to lead graphics budget across projects and Brands
- Guide partner agencies in development of advertising and shopper marketing creative
- Stay continuously curious, developing new design skills & techniques, that will enable the growth of internal capabilities
- Recommend ways to make our processes more efficient, effective, and economical via the design team and associated efforts
- Coach, develop and upskill direct report

Minimum Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or related field required
- 7-10 years of professional graphic design and project management experience, preferably in a CPG organization
- 2-4 years of direct report management experience
- Mac/Adobe experience required - Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro
- Experience in, or willingness to learn, WordPress, AI platforms, Smartsheet, Social Media content development
- Experience in packaging, static, video, and animation design and production
- Understanding of regulatory requirements, such as nutrition facts, ingredient statements, claims, etc.
