Description

Position Overview:

The Graphic Designer – Retail Display Specialist will be responsible for creating visually compelling and brand-consistent retail display setups. This includes designing point-of-purchase displays, end caps, in-store signage, and other promotional materials that enhance the shopper experience and drive sales. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong understanding of retail marketing strategies, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Retail Display Design: Conceptualize, design, and produce retail displays, including point-of-purchase (POP) displays, end caps, and window displays that effectively promote products and engage consumers.
  • Visual Merchandising Support: Collaborate with the Visual Merchandising team to develop cohesive in-store environments that align with the brand’s aesthetic and marketing goals.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all retail display designs are on-brand, visually appealing, and meet the company’s quality standards.
  • Prototype Development: Work closely with production teams to develop prototypes and oversee the execution of retail displays from concept to final production.
  • Material Selection: Choose appropriate materials and production methods to ensure designs are both visually striking and cost-effective.
  • Trend Analysis: Stay updated on the latest design and retail trends, incorporating relevant elements into display concepts.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, and Product Development, to ensure that display designs align with broader business objectives.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines and budgets.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of graphic design experience, with a strong focus on retail display design.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design software.
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing retail display designs and other relevant work.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent eye for detail and a strong understanding of typography, color, and composition.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and articulate design concepts to stakeholders.
  • Time Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-Solving: Creative thinker with the ability to troubleshoot and provide innovative solutions to design challenges.
