Our Finance team is currently seeking a strategic and analytical Head of Corporate FP&A leader based out of the New York office.

What can you expect?

  • The FP&A Leader, GC role is responsible for creating GC financial strategy and decision support.
  • This role will report to GC CFO and will lead the GC Corporate FP&A team and work closely with Finance and GC leadership.

We will count on you to:

  • Lead GC FP&A team and liaise frequently with GC Executive Committee
  • Provide leadership to GC Finance, working closely with the CFO to forge direction and delivery.
  • Own the budget process for GC, understanding opportunities and threats and build credible plans to deliver profitable growth in line with targets.
  • Lead forecasting process, ensuring appropriate mix of top-down understanding and client level analytics.
  • Provide financial consulting and strategic support to senior management, including the provision of accurate, timely and insightful analyses of key projects in the business unit such as acquisitions, team hires, IT projects etc.
  • Produce analytics from across financial systems to bring GC leaders insights and direction on clients, product lines, etc.
  • Ensure the business receives robust KPIs to run the business, including coordinating the collection of all performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of variances to budget, forecast and prior year.
  • Present and explain GC financial results at management meetings, including an in-depth analysis of revenue drivers versus prior year.

What you need to have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related degree; qualified or equivalent accounting qualification.
  • 10+ years of Finance experience in a (re)insurance or global, highly matrixed organization.
  • Strong business acumen and knowledge of operating models across insurance broking and advisory firms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, managing multiple stakeholders.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $130,100 to $260,400.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
