Job Responsibilities

The Head of Finance will manage both the finance and operations functions, overseeing third-party service providers and ensuring a seamless, efficient workflow. Responsibilities include:

Financial Reporting

• Manage month and quarter-end financials.
• Prepare monthly deliverables to PE sponsor, including board decks and investor updates.
• Reconcile investment balances and lead valuation.
• Post journal entries.
• Oversee 3^rd party administrator, production and distribution of quarterly PCAPS.
• Manage audits for Validity and associated funds.
• Quarterly debt covenant compliance.

Tax Management

• Supervise tax preparation in collaboration with 3^rd party tax preparer.
• Oversee the distribution of K-1s and estimated K-1s (Validity + managed funds).

FP&A

• Maintain the company’s cash flow model.
• Manage liquidity.
• Coordinate capital calls and distributions (Validity + managed funds).

Treasury Management

• Oversee expense payments by 3^rd party administrator.
• Manage collections, ensuring proper returns.
• Distribute returns to managed funds and occasionally to third parties.
• Handle payroll management.
• Administer the incentive plan.
• Reconcile investment funding requests as needed.

Managed funds

• Manage reimbursements and management fees.
• Oversee audit, tax, PCAPS, K-1s, valuation, capital calls, and distributions for the (3) managed funds.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration required.
• Proven experience in managing both finance and operations, with the ability to oversee outsourced functions.
• Strong knowledge of treasury activities, tax reporting, and investor communications.
• Experience in financial planning and analysis, including budget management and KPI tracking.
• Ability to negotiate with and manage third-party service providers (e.g., IT, payroll, auditors).
• Excellent management and supervisory skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
