Bottle Raiders is revolutionizing the fine spirits media and events business, bringing a one-stop shop for reviews, industry coverage and the hottest events around the country. We have the largest database of spirits reviews on the internet where we aggregate reviews from top critics and assign one average score (think Rotten Tomatoes for spirits). We are expanding our already popular tasting events business and have a proprietary app launching soon.
We are looking for a Head of Marketing who can take our relatively new brand to the next level and has experience building a beer/wine/spirits media/events business. This position is part marketing and part business development and should be someone who is a self-starter and excited about the prospects of our brand and products.
Bottle Raiders is the newest launch from Abrams Media, founded by entrepreneur Dan Abrams (of ABC News and Live PD) who has created and sold numerous businesses. The company currently includes widely read sister property Mediaite.com and, until it was recently acquired, the Law&Crime Network.
Responsibilities:
- Building the Bottle Raiders brand and awareness of our products through strategic partnerships/alliances
- Garner more attention for our products: our app, events, monthly clubs, etc.
- Generate buzz through various press initiatives including celebrity/influencer outreach
- Overseeing paid marketing spend
Qualifications:
- 4+ years in marketing/business development preferably in the beer/wine/spirits industry
