Overview:

Stella & Dot, a leading fashion accessory brand renowned for empowering women, is seeking a dynamic and visionary Creative Director to revitalize and innovate the Stella & Dot brand and product assortment. As the Creative Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the product vision, design direction, brand marketing strategies, and overall creative output of Stella & Dot. You will drive innovation while staying true to our legacy bold and joyful brand identity, ensuring that our products and marketing efforts resonate with our mission of empowering women globally.


Location: You must be able to work with the team in person in our Burlingame, Ca office weekly.



Responsibilities:

  1. Accessories Product Line Vision and Design Direction:
  • Lead the creative development process from concept to execution, ensuring all product designs align with a modern, commercial, and unique Stella & Dot brand aesthetic and values.
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external teams including product development, merchandising, and sales to drive the creation of compelling and marketable fashion accessories.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitor offerings to inform design decisions and maintain our competitive edge.
  1. Brand Marketing:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive brand marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, and loyalty among our target audience.
  • Oversee the creation of marketing collateral, including but not limited to, print materials, digital assets, and visual merchandising displays.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints and channels, including social media, online platforms, retail locations, and events.
  1. Social Media and Digital Marketing:
  • Spearhead our social media strategy, leveraging platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Pinterest to amplify brand messaging and engage with our community.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop innovative digital marketing campaigns that drive traffic, conversion, and customer acquisition.
  • Monitor and analyze social media and digital marketing performance metrics to optimize campaign effectiveness and ROI.
  1. Events:
  • Collaborate with the events team to plan and execute trunk shows, pop-up shops, and other experiential marketing initiatives.
  • Leverage events as opportunities to showcase new product launches, collaborations, and brand partnerships.

Requirements:

  • Fashion accessories merchandising and design experience.
  • Bachelor's degree from a renowned Institution in Fashion Design, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proven experience (8+ years) working in fashion accessories, with a strong portfolio showcasing creative prowess and commercial success.
  • Demonstrated experience leading a creative team and driving innovative design solutions.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Mission-driven with a genuine passion for empowering women and advancing our company's mission.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant design software.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing trends.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for events and industry engagements.
