Head of PR - US & Canada
As the Head of Public Relations for the US and Canada, you will be based in our NYC offices.
You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive PR strategies that enhance the brand's image, visibility, and market presence in these key regions. You will lead the PR team, manage relationships with key media outlets, influencers, KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders), and VIPs. You will work closely with the PR team based in Paris (France).
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy Development:
Develop and implement PR strategies to increase brand awareness and market share in the US and Canada.
Align PR strategies with overall brand goals and marketing initiatives.
Work closely with cross-functional partners to maximize PR & Influencer strategy and connectivity.
Innovate and advocate for new ways to expand our VIP & Influencer marketing initiatives by staying current on industry trends, up-and-coming celebrities, influencers, etc.
Media and Influencer Relations:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets, journalists, stylists, influencers, KOLs, and VIPs.
Secure high-quality media coverage in top-tier fashion, lifestyle, and business publications.
Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and manage the PR team to ensure high performance and professional growth.
Coordinate with the global PR team in Paris to maintain consistent messaging and strategy.
Analytics and Reporting:
Monitor, analyze, and report on PR performance metrics.
Provide insights and recommendations to improve PR strategies and outcomes.
Budget Management:
Manage the PR budget for the US and Canada, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
Allocate resources strategically to maximize impact and ROI
Travel and Flexibility:
Based in NYC, with flexibility to travel in the USA, Canada and Paris (HQ)
Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in public relations, within the fashion industry.
Proven track record of successful PR campaigns and media relations.
Strong network of media contacts in the US and Canada.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities (management of 3 PR professionals).
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in PR analytics tools and software.
