Job Summary
As the Head of Supply Chain, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our supply chain to enhance efficiency, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness. This strategic position offers the opportunity to lead transformative initiatives in the aviation industry.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with company goals.
Supplier Relations: Cultivate strong partnerships with suppliers, negotiating contracts for optimal terms and ensuring high standards of quality.
Procurement and Sourcing: Oversee procurement activities to meet technical and sustainability standards, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
Logistics Management: Manage warehousing, transportation, and distribution operations to support manufacturing and customer needs.
Inventory Optimization: Implement policies to streamline inventory levels, minimize waste, and ensure availability of critical components.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including logistical challenges and market fluctuations.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with departments such as Manufacturing, R&D, and Finance to align supply chain strategies with organizational objectives.
Sustainability Initiatives: Champion sustainability efforts in the supply chain, promoting eco-friendly practices and ethical sourcing.
Team Development: Lead and mentor a high-performing supply chain team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 15 years in supply chain management, ideally in aerospace, manufacturing, or technology, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Strategic Acumen: Strong strategic planning skills with a proven track record of executing supply chain strategies.
Relationship Building: Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills with stakeholders at all levels.
Operational Expertise: Deep understanding of procurement, logistics, inventory management, and risk assessment.
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams toward achieving organizational goals.
Sustainability Commitment: Passion for sustainability with experience implementing eco-friendly practices in supply chain operations.
Communication: Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
