Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive fundamental analysis of companies, including financial statement analysis, industry research, and valuation modeling.
- Identify, analyze, and monitor investment opportunities across various asset classes and sectors.
- Prepare detailed investment memos and presentations for senior management and portfolio managers.
- Stay updated on market trends, economic developments, and relevant news to assess their impact on investment strategies.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of financial models to support investment theses.
- Participate in meetings and calls with company management, industry experts, and sell-side analysts.
- Monitor and evaluate existing portfolio positions, providing timely updates and recommendations.
- Collaborate with other analysts and portfolio managers to generate investment ideas and optimize portfolio performance.
- Adhere to compliance and regulatory requirements and ensure all research and analysis is conducted ethically and within legal guidelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or CFA designation is a plus.
- 2-5 years of experience in equity research, investment banking, asset management, or a related field.
- Strong financial modeling, quantitative, and qualitative analytical skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and databases (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet, Excel, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
- Demonstrated interest in financial markets and investment strategies.
