Hematology and Oncology Physician Job with Genesis HealthCare System in Zanesville, OH

Genesis Healthcare System is seeking a BC/BE Hematologist/Oncologist who is interested in joining a cohesive oncology team of specialists in a new, state-of-

the-art Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Aspects of this position include:

• Practice in a collaborative team environment with 2 Hematologists/ Oncologists, 2 Radiation Oncologists, Breast Surgeon, 2 Hospice and Palliative Care Physicians, and dedicated Advanced Practice Provider and Nurse Navigators.
• Full range of consultative, inpatient and outpatient Hematology and Oncology Services, including industry-sponsored clinical trials, and genetic counseling and screening.
• 24/7 hospitalist program for admissions and rounding.
• 22-chair infusion area, with pharmacy and lab onsite.
• Varian TrueBeam, Trilogy, IMRT, SRS, SBRT, and HDR.
• Epic EMR fully integrated.
• Employment position with physician-governed medical group.
• 1100 visits/month in chemo center
• 80% oncology certified nurses
  
  

Call Schedule:

Providers will take 1/3 of call per month. We can explore our APP helping with the call burden if needed.

APP:

Our current APP is not maxed out in her potential. She will have time to help you with your patient load by helping with inpatient rounding and rotation of follow up visits. Once we get you established, we can assess the need for an additional APP or physician. Our inpatient burden is not high as most of our work is outpatient.
