Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as a Home-Based Hotel Scheduler (Remote). In this role, you will be responsible for managing hotel reservations, coordinating room assignments, and maintaining accurate records of bookings and availability. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with hotels and accommodation providers to manage room availability, negotiate rates, and secure reservations on behalf of clients.
  • Coordinate with clients to understand their accommodation needs, preferences, and special requests, and provide personalized recommendations based on their requirements.
  • Utilize hotel management software and reservation systems to input, update, and track reservations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all scheduling tasks.
  • Monitor hotel occupancy rates, forecast demand, and adjust reservations as needed to maximize room utilization and revenue opportunities.
  • Communicate effectively with clients via phone, email, and online chat to confirm reservations, provide booking details, and address any inquiries or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with team members and hotel partners to resolve scheduling conflicts, manage cancellations and modifications, and ensure a seamless booking experience for clients.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel policies, rates, and amenities to provide clients with accurate information and recommendations.
  • Generate reports and analyze data related to hotel occupancy, booking trends, and client preferences to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in hotel reservations, hospitality management, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with clients, colleagues, and hotel staff.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems, online booking platforms, and hotel management software to process reservations and manage scheduling tasks.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and creating positive experiences for clients and hotel partners.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, with a reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace conducive to productivity.
  • Flexibility to accommodate varying work schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to support client needs and business operations.
