Home Depot Business and Content Management Analyst

The Libman Company (www.libman.com) is a 4th-generation, family-owned consumer products manufacturer of cleaning tools (brooms, mops, brushes) and other cleaning products (sponges, chemicals etc). The vast majority of our products are manufactured in our state of the art 1.8 million square foot facility located in Arcola, IL. We have a strong brand and distribution nationally in the retail and commercial markets. Libman is a major market leader in the USA and also has an international presence in over 15 other countries. We own a major cleaning tools company in Australia, called Sabco, and in the UK, called Dishmatic. We are actively looking to continue our growth.

Summary/Objective:

The Home Depot Business and Content Management Analyst works with the Director of Sales and the customer on a daily basis to provide recommendations and execute projects as it relates to replenishment, inventory management, forecasting, and online content management. Key areas of responsibility will be focused on extensive point of sale analysis, and working with The Home Depot Brand Advocate to manage online content for HomeDepot.com. This analyst will collaborate with the Home Depot replenishment team, merchandising planners, Brand Advocate, and the Libman Director of Sales on a regular basis to ensure sales/inventory/online content expectations are being met.


Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis:

-Supports the Director of Sales with POS sales analysis, forecasting, promotional planning, and replenishment metrics

-Develop, communicate and maintain POS reporting tools with Home Depot to help make informed decisions for the customer and to report sales internally and externally.

-Review and track promotional performance at Home Depot to ensure sell through goals are achieved. Maintain past reports to guide future promotions.

  • Customer Contact & Systems:

-Leads replenishment analysis meetings with Home Depot’s IPR team

-Leads the relationship with our Home Depot Brand Advocate and drives projects both internally and externally to fully enrich the online content including images, bullets, SEO content, rich content, and more on HomeDepot.com

-Follows up on Quote Center open quotes and POs with individual store PRO Desks

-Answers requests and send materials to PRO desks as needed

-Sets up new items in Home Depot’s IDM system and works with Libman team to get images, videos, and more to fully enrich the product information pages online

-Logs into IDM daily to address any data issues

-Responsible for supply chain data in IDM to maintain accurate dimensions

-Communicates internally and externally to resolve incorrect PO pricing and buy packs

  • Internal Libman Contact:

-Assists in communicating with the Libman team and the customer to ensure seamless execution of off shelf and merchandising reset projects

-Provide weekly and monthly service level and sales reports to management. Identify opportunities to maximize sales. Provide any ad-hoc reporting, as requested.

-Supports Director of Sales by making periodic store visits, and setup product displays at facilities in Smyrna and Marietta, GA

  • Analytical:

-Can quickly manipulate and analyze sales and inventory data in Excel and other formats to identify core issues and trends in the business

-Functional knowledge of demand planning, logistics, retail analysis and production planning

  • Presentation & Data Modeling:

-Ability to present to, and influence others at all levels, especially with sales and inventory analysis

-Putting complex data trends into an easy-to-understand format for presentations (graphs/tables/etc.)

  • Organization:

-Strong project management and multi-tasking skills with the ability to drive competing priorities

-Attention to detail to ensure data accuracy critical to building stakeholder credibility

  • Self-Motivation:

-Pro-active self-starter that is able to prioritize demands and seeks continuous improvement

-Desire to operate and function within a fast paced, customer focused organization/role


Required Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a Business-related field
  • Strong proficiency using advanced functions within the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel including Pivot Tables and vlookups, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Power BI, etc.)


Preferred Education & Experience:

  • 3+ years of sales/business/supply chain analyst background
  • Retail experience with a consumer-packaged goods company in the homecenter channel
  • Proficiency with Home Depot systems such as IDM, Vendor Drill, Askuity Fusion, and more
  • Online retail content enhancement for consumer products


Additional:

  • This position will be remote in the Atlanta, GA area and may require a limited amount of travel

-Strongly preferred that the candidate lives within a 30-minute drive of the Home Depot Store Support Center (SSC), located at 2455 Paces Ferry Road Northwest, Atlanta, GA 30339

  • Will require the ability to drive to the Home Depot Innovation Center in Smyrna, GA or the Home Depot SSC in Atlanta as needed
  • Other travel may be required as needed, possibly a couple trips per year
