The Director Hospital Pharmacy will join an award winning Hospital that boasts a robust program with daily chemical mixing for oncology, ensuring cutting edge care for their patients. The Pharmacy Director will join an excellent pharmacy department dedicated to providing top notch pharmaceutical care. This Hospital is in search of a Director of Pharmacy who has strong interpersonal, organizational, oral, and written skills, along with an Illinois Pharmacist License, or willing to obtain the IL Pharmacy License.
The Pharmacy Director will lead a dedicated team of 8 pharmacists and 10 pharmacy techs. The current Director is moving to another position within the Hospital and will be assisting in easing the new Pharmacy Director into the role, to ensure that they will be comfortable in the role. The Director of Pharmacy will be involved in collaborating with other department leadership to ensure optimal patient care and operational efficiency. The Director Inpatient Pharmacy will have the opportunity to make strategic decisions and implement initiatives that will impact the acute care hospital’s pharmaceutical services.
