Responsibilities

  • Foster a collaborative and productive team environment for assigned projects.
  • Oversee all aspects of construction projects, from planning and scheduling to budgeting and implementation.
  • Skillfully juggle multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring seamless execution and timely completion.
  • Participate in the selection and management of project teams, including contractors, architects, procurement engineers, and inspectors.
  • Negotiate effectively with contractors, designers, and vendors on behalf of the project owners.
  • Coordinate with city and county officials to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Be prepared to travel extensively (35% or more) to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in design, construction, engineering, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent experience in hospitality construction management.
  • Minimum of three years' experience in hospitality construction project management.
  • Proven ability to work remotely and effectively manage projects from a home office.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Adobe Acrobat, or Bluebeam.
  • Familiarity with construction management software.
  • Expertise in creating budgets, cost analysis, schedules, and modifications.
  • Strong leadership qualities, exceptional negotiation skills, and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication abilities, allowing you to interact effectively with vendors and employees.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Dedication to achieving departmental and company goals and objectives.
