Key Responsibilities
Accommodation Management:
Manage utilization and upkeep of accommodations
Handle billing and housing agreements
Food And Beverage Services
Develop delicious and cost-effective menu options
Ensure availability of meals and snacks within budget
Maintain inventory and retail offerings
Security And Safety
Oversee site security and key management
Implement safety programs and training
Conduct regular inspections for compliance
Site Maintenance And Housekeeping
Maintain facilities to high standards
Coordinate cleaning and linen services
Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of public areas
Transportation And Logistics
Provide shuttle services for staff and visitors
Arrange transportation to/from ferry and airport
Project Management And Budgeting
Oversee construction and improvement projects
Create and manage departmental budget
Forecast staffing and inventory needs
Staff Supervision And Training
Recruit, train, and motivate hospitality team
Provide ongoing feedback and development opportunities
Requirements
5+ years experience in property or hospitality management
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or Business Administration preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and budget management
Ability to manage multiple projects and diverse teams
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on feet for extended periods
Willingness to travel via small plane and ferry in remote settings
Comfortable navigating gravel roads in varying weather conditions
