What you’ll do

The Hospitality Trainer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and conducting comprehensive training programs for our venue staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and training, with a passion for developing talent and ensuring consistent, high-quality service across all our venues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement training programs for new hires and existing staff, focusing on customer service, hospitality best practices, and company policies.
  • Conduct regular training sessions, workshops, and seminars to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with management to identify training needs and create customized training solutions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve training materials and methods.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and support to staff to ensure the application of training in daily operations.
  • Maintain training records and track employee progress.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Training and Development, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in hospitality or a similar industry, with at least 2 years in a training role.
  • Strong knowledge of hospitality standards, customer service principles, and training methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create engaging and effective training materials.
  • Proficient in using training software and tools.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Hospitality Trainer (CHT) or similar certification or experience.
  • Experience in venue management or event planning.
