WORK OPTION: 4 days per week in the Secaucus, NJ office

Position Summary:

The HR Analyst supports a variety of HR systems-related responsibilities, including PeopleSoft HR master data/organization management administration, payroll reconciliation and validation, and SuccessFactors super user support. The HR Analyst also supports super users for a variety of HR systems and platforms and partners with IT in efforts towards optimizing HR data management practices, systems operations, and process improvement. The HR Analyst partners directly with HR, IT, and other cross-functional stakeholders to improve the NBA’s human capital landscape through the support of new and existing HR Technology and business processes. The work of this role is performed primarily in-person as it relates to engagement with internal and external stakeholders.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Support super user administration of NBA HR applications (ex. Peoplesoft HR, SAP SuccessFactors, etc.), including data/systems requests, production support, and troubleshooting.
  • Contribute to the support of master data management practices, data governance and data integrity through ongoing audits and analysis of processes.
  • Process daily HR data transactions, including auditing and troubleshooting to support HR data governance, with continued data validation.
  • Maintain cyclical payroll processes to ensure timely and accurate employee pay data, by supporting the bi-weekly validation and review of new employee data in preparation of scheduled payroll process.
  • Maintain HR operations including ongoing projects, data/systems requests, production support, and troubleshooting.
  • Support the maintenance of core HRIS organizational, job and data configuration tables, in addition to maintaining time and labor related applications/tables.
  • Support government or regulatory reports and stay current on reporting regulations (ex. EEO-1, Social Security validations, etc.)
  • Review employee HR lifecycle activities including position and organizational management, seasonal on/offboarding, and general HR business processes. This will include headcount reporting and tracking.
  • Support critical year-end process data management practices, data validation, and payroll reconciliation processes. This includes year-end reward data validation tasks.
  • Provide support to Power Users to develop effective solutions and serve as a liaison between functional HR and IT experts as needed.
  • Assist with implementations of new and existing HR technology by testing new customizations, functional updates/fixes and/or new system features.
  • Perform ad hoc reporting requests, including the appropriate case handling of sensitive and confidential data and employee matters.
  • Assist employees, vendors or other stakeholders by answering questions related to systems’ processes, procedures and services.
  • Contribute to the HR Value Stream as Agile participant in partnership with HR/IT.

Required Education/Professional Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working in Human Resources or HRIS
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
  • Experience with PeopleSoft HR v9.2 preferred.
  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors preferred.
  • Experience working directly with HR Centers of Excellence, IT, Payroll, and additional cross-functional stakeholders preferred.

Salary Range: $80,000-$95,000
