Monday-Friday 8:30AM-5:00PM (30 min lunch break) Three days in office and two days WFH.
HR Generalist Pay Rate
Annual salary is $60,000.00 ($28.85/HR)
HR Generalist Work Location:
This position requires travel to the Easton, PA and Walnutport, PA areas.
The HR Generalist-Northampton is a new position that serves our fastest growing Division…consisting of 3 residential programs (Blue Mountain, Walker Road and Restoration LTSR)…with an employee population of ~50. The HR Generalist is responsible for all aspects of HR including Staffing, Employee Relations, Benefits and HR Administration
This position reports to the COMHAR HR Director…with a dotted line to the Leader of Northampton Programs. The HR Generalist role is an on-site position based in Northampton County with offices in both the Blue Mountain (Walnutport, PA) and Restoration LTSR (Easton, PA) facilities. The HR Generalist is supported by the HR Corporate Team which is based in Philadelphia
HR Generalist Job Duties
The HR Generalist who will be responsible to recommend, design and implement human resources programs to ensure service excellence in meeting the needs of our internal customers and promote best practices within the team to support current and future business goals and objectives. This position ensures all HR program initiatives align to business strategy and objectives while delivering promised benefits such as business growth, productivity while achieving financial cost/benefit targets.

HR Generalist Responsibilities
Staffing
- Talent sourcing via job boards, referrals, network groups, universities
- Work collaboratively with hiring managers on identifying requirements and skills to complete and maintain accurate job descriptions
- Develop onboarding plans and train newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and regulations
- Coordinate exit interview, retention and turnover trends
- Employee relations, including engaging employees and conducting sensitive conversations
- Analyze exit survey and work towards reducing the turnover rate
- Manage Benefits Administration…including enrollment, status change and record keeping
- Lead Annual Benefit Enrollment Event
- Tracking, reporting, analysis of HRIS (Paylocity)
- Work with Professional Development Group to schedule and track individual training & development plans
- Assess employee performance, including appraising pay scales, assisting with annual reviews, and coordinating disciplinary action (including terminations if necessary)
- Work closely with HR associates, business managers and other functional department teams
- Solid knowledge of employment laws and HR practices
- Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner
- Manage digital and physical files for employees and their documents, including benefits, attendance records, and annual reviews
- Create official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary adjustments, updates to the employee handbook, leave of absences, and warning/termination letters
- Special projects and other duties as assigned

HR Generalist Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource management, business administration, communication or a related field with 3-5 years of dedicated experience in recruiting and full-cycle recruitment in a high volume environment required.
- Master’s degree in Human Resource, or business Administration preferred
- Experience using Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- Must demonstrate sound knowledge of effective recruiting and networking techniques.
- Applied knowledge of applicable state and federal employment regulations.
- Positive and collegial communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with management and candidates at all levels.
- Must have experience managing HR Projects
- Candidates with knowledge and experience in the health care/behavioral health care industry preferred.
- PHR/SPHR certification preferred
- Desire to thrive in scenarios of team-based work or independent tasks, always looking to learn more and take initiative on a number of different projects and tasks
