HR Manager
Pay: $35.00 to $37.00 Per hour
Job Overview
The HR Manager oversees the human resources department and ensures effective HR strategies and policies are implemented. This role involves managing a team of six direct reports and handling various HR functions, such as recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and benefits administration. The HR Manager will work closely with senior management to align HR initiatives with organizational goals and foster a positive work environment.
Schedule And Shift
- Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Full-Time Onsite
- Led and managed the HR department, supervising six direct reports.
- Develop and implement HR strategies and policies that align with the company's objectives.
- Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding of new employees.
- Manage employee relations, address concerns, conduct investigations, and resolve conflicts.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
- Administer employee benefits programs and assist with benefits enrollment.
- Conducted training sessions on HR-related topics and guided employees and management.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
- Support performance management processes, including evaluations and disciplinary actions.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute HR initiatives that promote a positive work environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of human resources experience, focusing on employee relations, recruitment, and compliance.
- Proven experience in managing a team of HR professionals.
- Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
