Job Description

The HRBP Enablement team at Block aims to drive innovative, efficient, scalable solutions to empower HRBPs to act as strategic business partners and change agents for the company. We achieve this by focusing on:

  • Alignment: Help to define roles and responsibilities of the HRBP team, review and iterate on our operating model; empower HRBPs through role clarity and skillset development
  • Communication: Serve as a dot connector between center of excellence (COE) outputs and HRBP delivery; Prepare and enable HRBPs to be strategically positioned to act on the People team and Block’s behalf
  • Community Engagement: Build an engaged HR community across Block, to encourage best practice sharing and collaboration; Identify strategic learning opportunities and development programs that would support ideal state of HR talent at Block
  • Infrastructure: Create, deliver and maintain HRBP tools, processes, and resources that help create best in class practices and increase efficiency of HRBPs


The Senior HRBP Enablement Partner will partner with HRBP and COE leadership to drive alignment, communication, community engagement, and infrastructure for the HRBP team.

  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships with HRBP and COE leadership, to understand their roadmaps and represent the voice of the HRBP team.
  • Partner closely with COE teams to support the design and execution of process, programs, and initiatives with an HRBP lens
  • Own and deliver on HRBP communications, ensuring the HRBP community is well informed and engaged real-time, with customized resources to support their delivery of work to the business.
  • Partner with COE and HRBP Leadership in the design and execution of scalable go-to-market ready solutions to address identified and prioritized challenges and opportunities.
  • Drive development of the HRBP team in partnership with HRBP leadership, including tailored onboarding and skill development, tied to aligned expectations and development needs of the HRBP team
  • Cultivate a strong network and feedback loop within the HR community. Establish routines and forums to regularly gather the HRBP point of view on a variety of business issues and challenges.
  • Create, deliver and maintain HRBP tools, processes, and resources that help create best in class practices and increase efficiency of the HRBP team


Qualifications

You Have:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in two or more of the following areas: HRBP, HRBP Lead, HR Consulting and/or HR COE.
  • Strong project management and implementation skills, including the ability to juggle multiple competing priorities.
  • Results driven individual who can navigate in ambiguity and produce outcomes in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
  • Strong influencing, communication and negotiation skills, including the ability to navigate in a highly matrixed organization effectively.
  • Able to quickly build rapport across a wide range of audience types, including senior HR leadership.
  • Focused and versatile team player who is comfortable under pressure, frequent change, or unpredictability.
  • Advanced Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience preferred


Additional Information

Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.

Zone A: USD $148,700 - USD $223,100

Zone B: USD $138,300 - USD $207,500

Zone C: USD $130,900 - USD $196,300

Zone D: USD $123,400 - USD $185,200

Amounts listed above include target variable compensation.

This role is also eligible to participate in Block's equity plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies, and may be eligible for a sign-on bonus.
