Description

We are in search of a skilled HRIS System Analyst to join our team in Hartford, Connecticut. The role involves working closely with clients to understand their business needs and ensure operational and functional effectiveness with the Oracle HCM Cloud solution. You will be a subject matter expert in Oracle HCM application management, coordinating with various stakeholders, including IT, HR, Payroll, and end users.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to understand and address business needs pertaining to the Oracle HCM Cloud solution.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in the areas of configuration, table maintenance, and general support for core HR modules, including ESS and MSS.
  • Support other HCM modules such as Absence, Benefits, Compensation, off-boarding as required.
  • Ensure that all system releases are tested and implemented effectively to minimize any system downtime and impact on integrations.
  • Identify system design needs and configure system enhancements and changes to modules.
  • Coordinate with internal clients for current and future module configuration, updates, and/or new functionality.
  • Work closely with Payroll, IT, and Vendors to troubleshoot issues with upstream/downstream systems.
  • Generate ad hoc reports and provide accurate and timely information.
  • Interpret and document user requirements and process flows to meet system-related needs. Develop alternative solutions, offer recommendations, and influence decisions.
  • Interact with end-users, internal and external customers to explain, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues.
  • Support quarterly release testing events by reviewing documentation, coordinating with the business on new features, reviewing test scripts, etc.
  • Participate in projects as the SME for technical requirements related to our HR Systems.


Requirements

  • Proficiency in Atlassian Jira, Citrix Technologies, Cloud Technologies, Database, and Backup Technologies is essential.
  • Skill in preparing Business Requirement Documents is required.
  • Must be adept in Oracle, HRIS - Human Resources Info Systems, HRIS Analysis, HRIS Payroll System, and Oracle HCM.
  • Experience in managing, implementing, and optimizing HRIS systems to meet changing business and market requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting and documenting technical information.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Must have a strong understanding of HR processes and data.
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for managing a large amount of data and providing accurate reporting.
  • Must have the ability to manage multiple priorities, and assess and adjust quickly to changing priorities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Familiarity with laws and regulations related to HR and employee data.
