JOB SUMMARY: The Human Resources Business Partner will play a crucial role in supporting the HR department in various areas, including new hire onboarding, Associate relations, performance management, HR policies, and Associate engagement and culture initiatives. This role requires a collaborative approach, working closely with business leaders to understand their objectives and develop HR strategies that align with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, have a thorough knowledge of HR policies and employment laws, and demonstrate the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to understand their objectives and develop HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Act as a consultant to managers and Associates on HR-related matters, including Associate relations, performance management, talent acquisition, and organizational development.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers in handling Associate relations issues, investigations, and conflict resolution.
  • Quickly analyze talent and human capital issues and provide improvement solutions.
  • Drive the onboarding process for new hires, creating a best-in-class experience.
  • Process new hire paperwork for bi-weekly and weekly staff, including entering information into Workday for payroll and employment tracking.
  • Support managers in setting performance goals, conducting evaluations, and providing feedback.
  • Partner with the talent acquisition team to ensure talent needs are being filled.
  • Plan and manage culture initiatives.
  • Partner with the Regional Payroll Administrator.
  • Identify training and development needs and coordinate appropriate programs to enhance Associate skills and knowledge.
  • Champion initiatives to enhance Associate engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Lead HR initiatives such as performance reviews, Associate engagement surveys, and talent development programs.
  • Analyze HR metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
  • Participate in HR projects and contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and practices.
  • Manage Human Resource administration tasks, including organizing HR events, ordering uniforms, and conducting HR presentations (New Associate Orientation, Sexual Harassment Prevention, Associate Benefits, Conflict Resolution, Health and Safety, Professional Development, Dress code).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent years of experience.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a must.
  • (Desired) SHRM certified (SHRM-CP)
  • Perform HR administrative tasks while maintaining an understanding of the company’s operational logistics.
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in an HR Generalist or a similar HR leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of Associate relations, performance management, and training and development practices.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and other HR-related software applications; experience with Workday is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all HR matters.
