The Human Resources Co-op will be based out of Macon, Georgia (1897 Allen Road, 31216). This is a temporary student position.

Job Requirements

  • Education Required:
    • Currently enrolled in Business Administration, with an interest in Human Resources (co-op program or regular studies)
  • Available for a Summer work term and in good academic standing
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Customer focused individual with exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Energetic self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team oriented environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel and Outlook
  • Knowledge of, and experience with recruitment is considered a strong asset

The main duties/responsibilities of this role include:

  • You will be responsible for a variety of HR & Recruitment related activities that will give you an opportunity to gain hands-on experience, including;
  • Utilize our Human Resources Information System (HCM) to update employee data and improve data integrity
  • Perform any tasks associated with administering HR programs and initiatives
  • Track training, performance evaluations, programs, and other HR duties
  • Create requisition templates and post requisitions as per sourcing strategy outlined by the Recruitment Team
  • Identify qualified applicants by using a variety of screening and assessment techniques
  • Coordinate interview scheduling and facilitate in person assessments
  • Conduct all required pre-employment checks
  • Update candidate files and maintain Applicant Tracking System data (Taleo)
  • Generate weekly recruitment reports and communication
  • Evaluate and improve recruitment processes in site hourly recruitment
  • Analyze applicant data to improve the recruitment strategy effectiveness
  • Coordinate and attend job fairs and other recruitment events, as required
