A Human Resources Coordinator (plant) may be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Provides support to the leadership team and Corporate Office HR team to execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy.
Assists the Corporate Office HR team in providing support to staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances providing critical information to the general office to assist with investigating allegations of wrongdoing and discharge.
Navigate the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
With the assistance of the Corporate Office HR team, executes learning and development
programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
Provides support the management team in employee corrective action meetings, discharges, and investigations.
Follows and ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; monitors and ensures compliance with company policies and practices.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma, or equivalent
Physical Requirements:
(S)he will be required to sit and stand for long periods of time. (S)he will be required to stoop, bend, and reach above the head and below the knees to file and retrieve data (please refer to essential job functions for a more detailed breakdown of physical requirements) .
Other
(S)he must have the ability to travel for multiple days, travel is estimated at less than 5%. This position may require overtime hours, with approval.
The Human Resources Coordinator (plant) is an hourly position and reports to the Human Resources Manager or General Manager.
