Human Resources Director

SkyBridge Luxury & Associates is thrilled to partner with a distinguished luxury hotel in Southern Florida to find an exceptional candidate for the role of Director of Human Resources. This iconic property, known for its unparalleled guest experiences and commitment to excellence, is seeking a dynamic and experienced HR leader to oversee all human resources functions. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of strategic vision, people-focused leadership, and in-depth knowledge of HR practices, helping to cultivate a positive and high-performing workplace culture in one of Florida’s most luxurious hotel settings.

**Job Description:**

As the Director of Human Resources, you will be responsible for leading the HR function, ensuring alignment with the hotel's goals, and fostering an environment where employees are engaged, motivated, and supported. Your role will involve developing and implementing HR strategies, overseeing recruitment and retention efforts, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. You will also play a key role in driving the hotel’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and in developing programs that enhance employee satisfaction and productivity.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Lead and manage the Human Resources department, including recruitment, onboarding, training, employee relations, and performance management.

- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the hotel’s business goals and enhance employee engagement and retention.

- Oversee compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

- Foster a positive workplace culture that promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion.

- Work closely with department heads to address staffing needs and develop talent pipelines.

- Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievances.

- Design and implement employee development programs that support career growth and professional development.

- Ensure the hotel’s HR policies and procedures are up to date and effectively communicated to all staff.

- Lead the hotel's efforts in employee recognition, wellness, and satisfaction initiatives.

- Monitor HR metrics and use data to drive improvements in HR processes and programs.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.

- Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

- Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws and regulations.

- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization.

- Proven track record in developing and implementing HR strategies that improve employee engagement and organizational performance.

- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

- SHRM or HRCI certification is preferred.
