Human Resources Generalist

SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for running the daily functions of the HR department including hiring and interviewing staff, enforcing company policies and practices, and collaborates with department managers on a regular basis.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES

• Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments
• Analyze HRIS performance metrics and resolve application issues
• Optimize HRIS processes, integrate new software, and keep track of technological advancements and trends in the field of HRIS
• Implement and manage new hire orientation and employee recognition programs
• Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, managers, and referring complex or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff
• Recruitment for corporate and technical positions, including posting positions, interviewing, and determining budgets for positions
• Track employee performance reviews, and coach staff on performance process
• Perform other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
• Proficient with HRIS systems (Paylocity experience preferred)
• Proficient with MS Office Suite
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
• At least 3 years of human resource experience preferred
