Job Description
We have a new and exciting HR Intern opportunity for an individual that is looking to launch their career in Human Resources while currently pursuing their degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. The overall objective of the HR Intern is to assist the Director of Human Resources in handling administrative tasks, maintaining records and personnel files, preparing for recruitment needs, and coordinating employee focused events. Possessing strong organizational skills and efficient work habits are qualities we are seeking in an HR Intern. In return, the HR Intern will gain hands-on experience in various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration. The HR Intern will support the Human Resources team in delivering exceptional service to our employees and ensuring a positive work environment.

Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities
Recruitment Support:
- Assist in posting job openings on various job boards and social media platforms.
- Screen resumes and shortlist applicant pools.
- Assist with the on-boarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters, new hire paperwork, and new employee orientation folders.
- Support the HR team in organizing engagement activities and events.
- Assist in conducting employee surveys and compiling results.
- Help address employee inquiries and provide support in resolving HR-related issues.
- Assist in tracking and updating employee performance records.
- Pull reports and help prepare performance review documents.
- Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of HR-related communications.
- Support the HR team in maintaining compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining HR files and documents.
- Participate in various HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
- May assistant with performing audit reviews for benefits and payroll reconciliation purposes.
- Conduct research on HR best practices and contribute to the process improvement efforts.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong interest in a career in Human Resources.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Prior HR or administrative experience is a plus, but not required.
- Hands-on experience in various HR functions.
