Human Resources Intern

Summary:

ITOCHU International Inc. is offering an exciting opportunity for an intern to join our Human Resources team to support initiatives for ITOCHU’s North American bloc. This internship will be offered for Summer 2023 with potential to continue throughout the school year.

An internship at ITOCHU International Inc. offers students a unique hands-on experience in an international organization with a history dating back to 1858. Over the past 160+ years, ITOCHU has grown to approximately 90 offices in 60+ countries as one of the leading sogo shosha, engaging in domestic trading, import/export, and overseas trading of various products such as textile, machinery, metals, minerals, energy, chemicals, food, general products, realty, information and communications technology, and finance, as well as business investment in Japan and overseas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support/manage digital employee file project
  • Research diversity and inclusion programs/initiatives in other companies
  • Support coordination of employee engagement/wellness activities and events
  • Provide assistance for recruitment/talent acquisition process

Qualifications:

  • An undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, or wellness-related field
  • Proficient in creating and monitoring social media content
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, results-driven, and motivated by project management and deadlines
  • Demonstrable experience successfully managing multiple projects

Hourly Rate - $18 - $20
