Expectations

This role is a part of the Human Resources team which will provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance, HRIS entry and Human Resources projects. Strong ethical behavior with a high sensitivity for confidentiality.

Responsibility

  • Environmental Safety Security and Health (ESSH)


Understand and follow all policies, rules and guidelines relating to ESSH

Always wear appropriate PPE as outlined in ESSH policies.

Report every incident or injury to your immediate supervisor

Participate in incident investigations

Identify any risks to individuals, the environment or the site

Questions situations, processes or procedures that appear unsafe or put the site at risk

Recognizes unsafe work conditions created by other workers

  • HR Processes


HRIS system processing (new hire information, payroll deductions, employee changes, data uploads, reports, etc.)

HR reporting and data entry (E-Verify, employee verification, employee information, benefits, government census data, etc.)

Employee confidentiality and accurate record keeping

Conducting Company and employee relation projects

Prepares new-employee files

Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions

Files documents into appropriate employee files

Assists or prepares correspondence as requested

Performs other related duties as assigned

Other duties as assigned

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook

Ability to deal with sensitively with confidential material
