Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources professional to help shape our company culture and enhance employee satisfaction. This role is based at our Tukwila Corporate Office with potential remote work options. You will work closely with our outsourced HR partner to support various HR functions within our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • HR Strategy and Compliance
    • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
    • Stay informed on HR trends, best practices, and legal requirements to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Employee Experience and Engagement
    • Oversee internal communications, recognition programs, and company events to boost employee engagement.
    • Coordinate company-wide initiatives, including the Annual Holiday Party and safety programs.
  • Employee Relations and Development
    • Manage employee relations matters, conduct investigations, and oversee performance management processes.
    • Support managers in conflict resolution and disciplinary procedures.
    • Conduct new employee orientations and manage the onboarding process.
  • Recruitment and Talent Management
    • Manage the recruitment process from job postings to onboarding, ensuring compliance with hiring regulations.
    • Maintain updated job descriptions and facilitate interviews and background checks as necessary.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Preferred certifications: SPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Proficient in MS Office and experienced with HRIS systems (ADP preferred).
  • Excellent communication, decision-making, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently.
