Job Title: Transmission Field Services Data Analyst

Location: New Albany, OH. Will consider other areas within Clients depending on space.

(Tulsa, OK, FT Wayne, IN, Roanoke, VA, Shreveport, LA, Benton Harbor, MI, Charleston, WV, Corpus Christi, TX)

Required

• Experience on PC-based Windows software such as Power BI and Microsoft Office applications. SharePoint experience is preferable.
• Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail required to ensure accurate and complete compliance data.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills essential for working relationships with downstream and upstream service stakeholders.
  
  

Education

• Associate's Degree in mathematics, statistics, operations research, engineering, or a related technical or business discipline with four (4) years of experience, or High School Diploma / GED with six (6) years of experience in an analytical or technical field.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Information Technology or in one of the above-listed subjects preferred and requires two (2) years of experience.

Job designation is Hybrid. Currently, there isn't a mandatory number of days in office. The schedule is a mix of remote work and in office onsite work as the BU requires. Candidate must be flexible with ability to work the schedule as needed. HM has some flexibility with bill rate.

The analyst will assist in providing data analytics expertise to optimize Client execution performance.

This position will assist key stakeholders in working on data analysis projects that gather and integrate execution focused data, performs analysis, interprets results, and develops actionable insights and recommendations for use within Client.

This includes communicating with key stakeholders to understand the work, data analysis, goal setting, visualization, and communicating actionable, proactive analytics.

• Access, review and compare data on work execution, process adherence, safety and other key metrics from different sources to validate information and ensure proper reporting
• Provide actionable, forward-looking recommendations based on data trends to help increase safety, productivity, and performance
• Understand how historical trends relate to future performance and continuous improvement
• Prepare final data in a presentable format appropriate for the audience
• Interface with different departments to support high level KPIs
  
  

Principal Accountabilities

• Data Analysts should have strong verbal and written communication skills to perform the following activities. Personnel should perform validation checks to ensure accurate measurement and reports are provided.
• Provide direct input on analytics strategy, standardization, and organization
• Work directly with key stakeholders to establish new analytics and assist in establishing goals
• Provide an understanding of analytics and how they can be used to drive decision making directly to key stakeholders and Client leadership
• Develop macro and micro performance metrics to measure process/productivity improvement effectiveness
• Provide communication of data and trends to Client management
• Develop an understanding of data available to Client to provide guidance to others developing analytics
• Support continuous improvement activities by recognizing opportunities in data trends
• Recommend data changes to improve the development of trends and metrics
• Maintain and develop an index of Client reports
