Job Title: Application Support Engineer

Location: Melbourne, Florida (Remote)

Duration: Long term

This job requires Clearance (security / secret / reliability clearance)

Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • 5 years of UNIX and Windows experience.
  • Experience in Java, C++, shell programming, .Net and SQL.
  • 3 years of IT O&M implementation and deployment experience.
  • Experience with Oracle databases, UNIX system administration, VMWare environments.
  • Proficient in UNIX and Windows.
  • Knowledge of the software development life cycles (SDLC) and application life cycle management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiar with networking concepts.
  • Degree in Computer Science; Computer Engineering; Computer Software Engineering; Computer and Information Sciences or other Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics disciplines or related technical discipline from an accredited University OR a minimum of five (5) years' experience.
  • Team oriented and self-motivated.
  • Excellent oral and written communicator.
