Job Title: Electrical Hardware Engineer

Location: Houston, Texas (Onsite)

Duration: 12 Months

Job Description

  • Experienced in Analog and digital electronics design, circuit simulation, schematic capture, and PCB layout software in PADs or equivalent.
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in sensor analog front end circuits, sensor calibration basics, ADC, LDO, AC-DC & DC-DC switching power supply topologies.
  • Basic understanding of various filters, amplifier topologies and architecture, able to perform simulation to verify a design.
  • Must have strong troubleshooting capability while fixing issue, verification & validation and capable of providing design solution for electronics.
  • Experienced in test plan creation, functional verification and qualification testing, system integration testing, test automation using LabVIEW or similar.
  • High temperature (150C and higher) electronics design, simulation, prototyping, and Testing is preferred.
  • Design experience in high temperature and rugged electronics design for downhole tools is preferred.
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in Gamma & Neutron spectroscopy is plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support electrical hardware development and implement solutions.
  • Hardware implementation Component selection, Schematics design & PCB layout support, Simulation & Analysis.
  • Component characterization and high temperature and high vibe qualification.
  • Support prototype building & co-ordination with cross functional team.
  • Analyze and develop Test Plans and procedures for Qualification and Acceptance processes.
  • Test setup preparation, System integration, design verification and validation.
  • Technical presentation & reporting.
