The Position:

We are seeking a highly motivated and IT-savvy intern to join our team as an IT Intern. In this role, you will gain valuable experience in the fast-paced world of IT support by providing first-line technical assistance to our internal users. You will troubleshoot a variety of technical issues, document solutions, and escalate complex problems to senior IT staff. This internship is a great opportunity to develop your problem-solving skills, learn new technologies, and gain valuable exposure to the IT industry.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Provide first-line technical support to internal users via phone, teams, email, and in-person interactions.

· Troubleshoot and diagnose a wide range of technical issues, including software problems, hardware malfunctions, and network connectivity issues.

· Research solutions to technical problems using internal knowledge bases and online resources.

· Document solutions and procedures to ensure consistency and knowledge transfer.

· Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff for further resolution.

· Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while interacting with users.

· Learn and stay up-to-date on new technologies and best practices in IT support.

· Assist with other IT related tasks as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office365.

· Familiarity with basic computer hardware and software troubleshooting is a plus.

· Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.

Education or Desired License and Certificates:

· Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
