Summary Description: This position is responsible for supporting the maintenance of Whataburger’s on-premise and cloud-based Infrastructure Systems. Supports the resolution of technical issues, user provisioning and deprovisioning, and ensuring cloud-based and on-premises systems comply with security and configuration best practices.
Responsibilities
Performs user provisioning tasks including account moves, adds, and changes.
Troubleshoots and remediates permission and login issues.
Participates in the development, design, and implementation of the Identity and Access Management Platform
Gains a basic understanding of on-premise infrastructure including VMWare ESX, VMs, Microsoft Windows Server platforms, Active Directory, Client Server apps, etc.
Gains a basic understanding of cloud platforms and services.
Researches and remediates alerts received from the monitoring platform.
Engages in and comprehends the IT Change Management Process
Documents server and process configurations and performs updates to those documents as environments change.
Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned.
Education
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree or
Currently enrolled in college and have completed a minimum of 80 hours
Experience
0 – 3 months experience
Knowledge, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Demonstrated ability to communicate and maintain effective working relationships
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
Proficiency in data entry and MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Proficiency in JD Edwards preferred
Elementary knowledge of practices and procedures in a particular field of specialization in the execution of assigned duties and responsibilities
Elementary understanding of departmental structure and policies of Whataburger Restaurants LLC
Working Conditions/Travel Requirements
Expected to work the necessary time to satisfactorily fulfill job responsibilities
Must be able to report to work timely and as required by operational/business needs
Some travel, both locally and long distances, (including air travel), to worksites, meeting sites, and other locations may be necessary
