Information Technology System Engineer

Candidates must be local to Springfield, MO and willing to go onsite. Hiring for IT System Engineer Level I & II.

Client is a non-profit healthcare system. Open to hiring Contract-to-Hire or Direct Hire.

Job Requirements

• Education
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Experience
• Required for IT System Engineer I: At least 3 years of experience in IT systems engineering, with a focus on implementation engineering OR Associate’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Required for IT System Engineer II: At least 8 years of experience in IT systems engineering, with a focus on implementation engineering. Proven track record of leading large-scale IT implementation projects and managing teams OR Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Skills
• Identifies and creates standard operating procedures and knowledge-based articles
• Participates in strategic thinking and planning with a strong business acumen
• Manages job duties that are varied and complex; utilizes independent judgement
• Participates in the management of vendor performance
• Identifies project risks and issues during planning and execution; participates in relevant mitigation strategies
• Licensure/Certification/Registration
• Preferred: ITIL Certification.
