The Information Technology Systems Administrator will provide support to Embold Health’s internal team and will be located in our Nashville, TN office. This individual will work with a variety of systems to provide top of the line IT solutions within our internal network. The Internal IT Systems Administrator will work with end users to troubleshoot, provide support, provision equipment, answer questions, and be available to help with a variety of other tasks as the position requires.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to Embold Health employees by responding to and accurately documenting all requests received through the Internal IT help desk
  • Manage Sophos antivirus on workstations and servers
  • Exercise sound judgment and escalate service requests and incidents as needed
  • Manage O365 and Azure Active Directory including new account creation assigning licensure and role-based access control
  • Mobile device management for Windows and Mac OS with Intune and other MDM software
  • Manage and maintain office networks including, ISP, Switches, AP’s, Gateways and VPN tunnels
  • SharePoint site management including policies, permissions, backups, and retention
  • Maintain employee equipment lifecycle including procurement, inventory tracking, assignment, patching, repairing, installing/removing software, and disposal according to Embold Health policies
  • Maintain inventory of all equipment, software, and software licenses
  • Maintain documentation of asset destruction
  • Manage asset management and employee access requests
  • Actively participate in employee onboarding/offboarding processes by configuring assigned equipment in advance, training new employees on Embold Health back-office systems, and retrieving equipment when an employee departs
  • Perform timely hardware and software upgrades as required
  • Adhere to Embold Health Change Control policies when making changes corporate IT Infrastructure
  • Participate in Embold Health regulatory compliance audits
  • Other duties as reasonably assigned


Required Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with general server, storage, network environments and general operations at an enterprise level
  • 2+ years of Help Desk and customer service experience
  • Intermediate understanding of Office 365 Administration including basic PowerShell commands
  • Able to maintain professional demeanor under stress
  • Experience with Patch Management strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn and adapt to changes in technology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for work in a collaborative team environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail while also able to multitask and shift between priorities
  • Thorough understanding of Microsoft Office Products


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience
  • Comp TIA A+, Net+, Sec + Certified
  • AZ 900
  • Security related knowledge such as encryption, key management, and identity and access management
