Colle McVoy, in partnership with our parent company, Stagwell, is looking for a self-starter Infrastructure Engineer to support our on-premises and cloud environments across multiple brands. The ideal candidate will have a broad skill base , including a strong working knowledge of W indows environments and some working k nowledge of Linux environments . The candidate will also have a broad understanding of networking , security , and cloud infrastructure to maintain the IaaS environments in good standing. Must be based in the Twin Cities area.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain Infrastructure Engineering documentation, policies, standards, and procedures and incorporate the maintenance of this documentation into project life cycles. This i ncludes identifying improvements to our infrastructure and configurations and creating a planned approach to implementing recommendations while following our Change Management Control processes to ensure our systems are operating optimally.
  • Responsible for ensuring that system infrastructure is functioning in an optimal manner and that all systems redundancies, failover capabilities, and performance goals are met through the proper implementation of design best practices, and other configuration items. This includes performing necessary actions for all failover testing, responding to and remediating issues/ alerts.
  • Communicating effectively with team members , o rganizing projects , p roviding technical knowledge , guidance and mentoring to junior team members .
  • Managing Hypervisors – VMware vSphere , Hyper-V .
  • Operating Windows servers 2012 – 20 22
  • Working with the following: Active Directory , AD DS, DNS, DHCP, ADFS, PKI, GPO , DFS
  • Storage (SAN /NAS ) – Block & unstructured File – Synology, EMC VNX, Netapp , Object, Cloud and Software Defined Storage, and storage replication technology .
  • Backup Software – Veeam , Synology.
  • N etwork Environments – Meraki, Cisco and others .
  • Firewalls/Security – Meraki MX, Palo Alto , Prisma Access .
  • Cloud Environments – Google GCP, Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure .
  • Communicate with brands’ business partners and organize communications.
  • Manage projects/tasks and be the right hand for the department head.
  • Travel domestically or internationally to assist in deployments.

Required Skills
  • A minimum of 10 years of Systems Engineering-related experience .
  • Experience with Windows and Linux environments preferred .
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of Microsoft, VMware, Hyper-V, EMC, Network and Systems Monitoring, MDM, Storage (SAN), ADFS/IAM/SSO/SAML, MFA
  • Strong understanding of firm’s Messaging infrastructure, Exchange 2010/2016, Exchange Site Availability, SMTP Routing, SPAM and Content Filtering
  • Working Knowledge with Google Workspaces, Office 365 , and Exchange Online
  • Experience and working knowledge with Public Cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, & GCP)

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree - preferably in computer science, information science or an equivalent, Military Experience, or relevant experience .
  • Ability to provide quality technical support, attention to detail, and a positive customer service attitude .
  • Good communication skills and a strong command of the English language . Additional languages are an asset .
  • A collaborative attitude .

  • A s elf-starting and resourceful approach to problem - solving.
  • Strong attention to detail , along with a commitment to quality and confidentiality .
  • A sense of urgency and a commitment to the timely completion of projects .
