Permanent Position

On Site – Rock Hill, SC area – 5 days a week

• This is a hands on role, so you must be able to do some architecture work as well as manage the team.
• At least 5 years of experience designing and managing enterprise-level IT infrastructure solutions.

In this role, you will manage the IT Infrastructure Team in a manufacturing environment. Manufacturing experience is required, and knowledge of IT and OT (Operational Technology) is a plus. The Infrastructure Team will support various areas, including servers, storage, networks, wireless, virtualization, and more.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with site leadership and Enterprise IT & OT teams to create and maintain a strategic roadmap for the infrastructure technology stack, with a focus on manufacturing technology areas.
• Develop subject matter experts (SMEs) in enterprise support and establish robust training programs.
• Ensure support agreements for relevant technologies are maintained to minimize their impact on business operations.
• Partner with business process owners to develop and maintain comprehensive enterprise Business Continuity Plans.
• Foster continuous improvement through technological innovation and process optimization.
• Lead the infrastructure team to maintain infrastructure, networking, and end-user technology services in a multi-site, 24/7 environment across North America.
• Work with Enterprise IT & OT teams, executive management, and department leaders to evaluate near- and long-term infrastructure capacity requirements.
• Stay updated on industry developments by researching infrastructure products, services, and standards.
• Oversee the implementation and upgrades of new and existing equipment, hardware, and software.
• Manage relationships with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure necessary infrastructure products and services.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or a related field, or equivalent work experience in a technology domain.
• Experience in or supporting 24/7 manufacturing environments.
• At least 5 years of experience designing and managing enterprise-level IT infrastructure solutions, processes, and teams.
• Demonstrated experience in developing enterprise-level infrastructure solutions.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft server operating systems and virtualization platforms (e.g., VMWare).
• Proficiency in computer hardware, networking, and system administration.
