Metals USA is seeking an Inside Sales Representative in Ambridge PA. Metals USA is a solid, growth oriented, carbon steel (plate, beam and tube) distribution center servicing the defense, commercial, construction, aerospace and fabrication industries.
Responsibilities
Generates value added business and introduces products to established clients with the coordination of the Outside Sales Representative.
Maintains key customers to ensure a continued base of profitable industrial business.
Identifies the target lead decision maker to initiate the sale.
Provides profitable transactional business through solicitation, quoting, email or other tools to grow the business.
Estimates & quotes customer projects; plans and executes the sales plan; responds to the customer's request and collaborates with cross-functional departments to ensure timely delivery of customer product.
Occupation requires being sedentary greater than or equal to 80% of the time (> 7 hours per day)
Sitting, standing, hearing, talking, handling/fingering, reach outward, reach above shoulder, walk, climb, squat or kneel, bend
Lift, carry, push and/or pull up to a maximum of 25 pounds without assistance.
Regularly required to work on multiple concurrent tasks with constant interruptions
Position requires some limited travel
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in business administration, Marketing, Construction Management, or related field is a plus
Three to Five year of industrial sales experience; preferably in structural steel/ fabrication
Ability to communicate effectively with professional demeanor to ensure sales success
Ability to learn new skills and technology
Metals USA offers a competitive starting hourly range of $ 27.90 - $31.25 and benefits plus upward mobility professional growth.
