Inside Sales Representative

The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is responsible for delivering and clearly articulating RMON Networks' value proposition to suspects and prospects of our Managed IT Services, generating a steady flow of qualified first-time appointments, as well as following up on inbound email and telephone inquiries. These efforts are achieved primarily through identifying and calling prospects over the phone (cold calling). Other channels of communication, such as email and LinkedIn outreaches are secondary prospecting activities to support calling. The Inside Sales Representative directly supports the achievement of sales goals by discovering and identifying qualified opportunities and collaborating with Outside Sales Representatives to win deals. Other responsibilities include following all processes in our CRM and ensuring data accuracy and management, partnering with marketing in identifying event, lead generation efforts or marketing opportunities in alignment with sales strategy and organizing/attending events to network and generate leads. The role requires strong negotiation, communication, and customer service skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent level of experience in related field
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications and customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • 3 years of proven success in inside sales or business development, preferably in the IT industry
  • Familiarity with Managed IT Services and IT infrastructure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and time-management skills
  • Self-motivated and target-driven with a passion for sales and exceeding expectations
  • Resilient attitude with the ability to handle rejection, address objections, and overcome obstacles
  • Demonstrates ability to conduct research, identify customer needs, and connect with prospective customers
  • Must be local to MA/NH


Responsibilities:

  • Actively sourcing new sales opportunities through cold-calling and emailing
  • Work through a daily list of phone calls to suspects and prospects
  • Accurately document all calls, messages, and interactions with prospects in CRM to ensure effective tracking and follow-up
  • Achieve and maintain a positive rapport with suspects and prospects
  • Developing in-depth knowledge of our value, services, product features and benefits
  • Utilizing virtual meetings to build relationships with potenial new customers
  • Creating a sales pipeline to accurately reflect the relative placement of sales prospects in the purchasing process
  • Following up on sales inquiries that are made by potential customers through website chats, emails, and inbound calls
  • Coordinate and set up face-to-face meetings between potential customers and Outside Sales Representatives and assist with preparing for appointments
  • Daily updating of the Sales Playbook and attend weekly Sales Meeting to review progress
  • Adhere to Inside Sales Framework
  • Adopt continuous learning and improvement processes, via Manager mentoring, Inside Sales education modules and participation in the Inside Sales Q&A sessions
  • Collaborate with the marketing and Managed IT Services teams to develop strategies and generate demand for Managed IT Services
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the Managed IT Services space
  • Perform other appropriate duties and responsibilities as assigned by your manager

  • Number of prospect dials in a day as set by Manager.

  • Attaining number of First Time Appointments with Decision Makers in a month as set by Manager.
  • Meet and / or exceed monthly sales goals
  • Satisfactory achievement of ongoing targets, goals, and objectives as set by Manager.
  • Accuracy of work undertaken, information and advice provided.
  • Following instructions and completion of tasks in a timely, accurate and efficient manner which meet the requirements of the company
