About The Role

We are searching for an experienced Installation and Service Manager to join our team of professionals. If you are a highly motivated technician with outstanding management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment, this might be the role for you!

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate and manage installation team to ensure timely and correct installations
  • Coordinate and manage service team to ensure the timeliness and quality of service appointments for existing customers
  • Communicate with customers directly on complex installation or service requirements
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
  • Resolve any installation- or service-related issues in a timely manner
  • Hire technicians and train staff on installation and service procedures and best practices
  • Handle all aspects of employee performance management including timely new hire and annual reviews, ongoing coaching, and corrective action
  • Inspect the quality of installations and service jobs and issue corrective actions when necessary
  • Prepare and present Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on installation and service team productivity and quality
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Recommend improvements to installation and service procedures and processes

Qualifications

  • Proven experience (2+ years) as an Installation and/or Service Manager or similar role
  • 5+ years prior hands-on experience in a service and/or installation technician role
  • Solid technical background with understanding of installation procedures
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage and coordinate multiple teams
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and related software
  • High School Diploma; Degree in Engineering or relevant field is a plus
  • Experience in the burglar/fire alarm industry preferred
