Qualifications
Education/Certification:
Bachelor's degree in related field from an accredited university
Certificate or license in appropriate field preferred

Ability to create and edit digital documents
Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written)

Experience
A minimum of one year experience in administration
A minimum of three years area specific experience
Major Responsibilities And Duties
Assist in creating lesson plans and course syllabi for adult basic education and Career Pathways that align with the Texas Adult Education Content Standards.
Ensuring that the curricula meet basic requirement of the Texas Workforce Commission guidelines.
Assess the effectiveness of the curriculum and instruction and adjusting as necessary to improve student outcomes.
Managing educational resource and materials to ensure they are up-to-date and relevant to the learner’s needs.
Providing one-on-one mentorship and coaching to help teachers develop their instructional skills, particularly in areas like integrating technology into the classroom.
Helping to facilitate ongoing professional development workshops and training sessions that focus on pedagogical strategies, classroom management, and content delivery tailored to adult learners.
Assisting teachers in leveraging digital tools and platforms to customize learning. experiences and meet the varied needs of adult learners.
Assisting in Implementing teacher induction programs that help new educators transition into the field and understand the specific needs of adult education students Provide supervision and guidance to appropriate support
Provide support in the registration and placement of students in classes as needed.
