Kiddom’s high-quality curriculum is layered with robust teacher and leader data insights to drive the continuous improvement of instructional decisions, school/district programming, and professional learning. The Instructional Designer will be responsible for editing and designing digital curriculum products within the Kiddom platform as well as editing and designing additional supplemental resources. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that teacher and student-facing content are optimized for our digital platform.   • Manually author/edit interactive question types using the Kiddom platform
  • Develop and implement protocols for instructional/graphic design of curriculum-aligned lesson presentations
  • Author/edit supplemental resources aligned to existing curriculum
  • Review content and provide Quality Assurance feedback
  • Other assigned tasks as needed to meet project deadlines and deliverables
  • Analyze and create content to align to state ELA standards
  • Collaborate with managers and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications
  • Assist in organizing work based on team member expertise, experience, and workload
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders regarding strategy, adjustments, and progress
  • Continuously monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
  • Troubleshoot and problem solve when situations do not align with usual processes


What we're looking for...

  • 3-5 years of K-12 ELA classroom teaching experience
  • Strong empathy for educators
  • Passion for improving education equitably
  • 2+ years of instructional design experience
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Creative problem solving


Salary range is dependent on geography, past experience, seniority, and demonstrated role related ability during the interview process.
