Will ensure the AN/SPY-1 Radar equipment is operational and available to support Aegis Modernization Tasking in various locations. This position coordinates with the AN/SPY-1 Radar Systems Engineer for primarily signal processor and antenna equipment but may include AN/SPY-1 Transmitter Equipment as well. Additionally, this technician assists in identifying, isolating, and repairing the SPY-1 equipment problems.
To Be Successful, You Will Need To
Ensure AN/SPY Radar equipment is activated, operational and properly configured to support each test event.
Identify and resolve equipment and documentation discrepancies.
Execute AN/SPY-1 Radar Planned Maintenance System (PMS) in support of Pre-assessments and ALO Assessments.
Assist during test performance, with collection and analysis of performance data, and in the resolution of radar logistics issues.
Support crew familiarization with AN/SPY-1 Radar System equipment, maintenance, and operations.
Candidate must have a DoD Final Secret Clearance prior to starting this position.
