The Integration Technician directly supports the Integration Supervisor in completing assigned in-house and field Integration projects for the Service Department. The person in this role will be responsible for assembling custom back-up power systems including UPS (uninterruptible power supply) systems, DC Power Systems, and integrating this equipment into custom enclosures.

Responsibilities/Accountabilities
Integration Assembly - Participate in the assembly and fabrication of Integration Projects by implementing the defined, detailed scope of work as outlined by Integration Supervisor
Provide input towards scope of work, often in real-time; provide input and act as a problem solver in the event of unforeseen electrical or mechanical technical challenges related to the project
Follow both NEC and UL508a standards when installing, wiring, and terminating any electrical device
Perform recharge of distribution stock UPS systems and batteries
Support other departments for other tasks or projects when necessary
Act as backup for Distribution Center team members when necessary
Keep the Integration and Service Warehouse areas orderly and free of debris and trash
Perform other duties and assignments as necessary
Requirements
Skills/Knowledge
Demonstrates basic electrical knowledge
Experience and familiarity with NEC
Strong Mechanical aptitude
Creative problem-solving skills
Ability to read and comprehend basic mechanical and electrical prints
Able to effectively prioritize and multi-task daily
Ability to take direction, communication and supervision from Integration Supervisor and upper levels of management

Posting Qualifications
High school diploma
Experience in an electrical field preferred
Ability to work at various heights
Ability to lift items greater than 25lbs (and up to 150 lbs.) on a regular basis
Ability to maintain a valid driver's license
Must pass a physical exam, background check and drug screening
Salary: $28 - $35 per hour
