This position plans, organizes and implements sourcing and selection activities for exempt, non-exempt, represented and non-represented positions throughout the organization.
Essential
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform clerical duties; keep records, enter information into computer systems; respond to communication requests and provide general information to the public.
- Process information and prepare reports as assigned; research and analyze information.
- Learn to interpret and apply human resource policies and procedures including recruitment and selection procedures and protocols.
- Learn the Workday HRIS recruitment and on-boarding modules.
- Effectively communicate both orally and in writing; establish and maintain a cooperative working relationship with department personnel.
- Exercise good judgment and demonstrate initiative in the performance of work.
- Under the direct supervision of a Talent Acquisition Specialist, participate in weekly community outreach recruitment events.
- Under the direct supervision of a Talent Acquisition Specialist perform special recruitment projects; test proctoring, exam administration assistance, and document processing.
- All job-related duties as assigned.

- The work environment is a typical office environment and public facing.
- Work in the public will include representing RTD at community-based events in and around the Denver metro area.
- Ability to work weekends and evenings as needed.
- High school diploma or GED
- Currently enrolled in a college degree granting academic program in good standing
- Colorado residency
- Valid CO driver’s license
- Ability to meet RTD hiring standards (criminal history, drug use, driving record).
- Professional certifications and bi-lingual skills are a plus.
- Maintain a valid Colorado driver's license.
- Position may work up to 20 hours per week, not RTD benefit eligible.
- Position will align with fall, spring, or summer academic semesters.
- Employment is temporary and will be evaluated at the completion of each academic semester for continuation based on business need and work performance.
