Job Description

The International Reporter Interns willcover international content focused on one of six regions including Africa, China, India, Latin America, mainland Europe, and the Middle East as their regular beat forModern Treatise.

Responsibilities:

• Write a weekly column covering one of sixregions Africa, China, India, Latin America, mainland Europe, or the Middle East.
• Special region-related coverage.
  
  

Duration:6 months

This is a virtual and unpaid internship. Yet, you will gain valuable writing experience.

Official Start Date:ASAP

Note: Metro New York, San Francisco, Washington DC, and Chicago residents are strongly encouraged to apply, but the location is not required.

Qualifications

The candidate should be adept at reporting on one of six regions.

The candidate should be adept at understanding political philosophies rather than political talking points.

The candidate must be able to look at geopolitical subject matters from multiple perspectives.

The candidate must be adept at relying on fact-based evidence rather than political or activist wish-thinking.

The candidate must be able to write as a neutral reporter.
