Role Overview

As an Inventory Administrator, you will play a crucial role in our Maintenance Support group, ensuring efficient supply chain management and cost control while enhancing inventory operations.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement effective policies and procedures for inventory management.

Assess inventory needs for new location setups and closures.

Monitor inventory performance and trends to optimize supply chain efficiency.

Maintain centralized control and cataloging of new part numbers.

Manage national warranty and core programs.

Assist in disposing of obsolete inventory and controlling inventory levels.

Collaborate with Corporate Procurement to source materials according to specifications.

Conduct audits on materials management processes.

Ensure compliance with corporate vendor agreements.

Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders.

Provide support and training to field-based parts personnel on materials management.

Deliver materials management training sessions for field locations.

Perform other duties as assigned to support team objectives.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance/Business or equivalent experience.

Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Experience In Maintenance Or Procurement Fields Preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience with Excel Pivot tables.

Background in transportation industry desirable.

Excellent team-building and project management abilities.

Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.

Physical ability to perform tasks involving lifting, stooping, and bending, with accommodations available upon request.

Willingness to travel up to 25% for meetings, trade shows, and conferences.
